“Joey has been a life changer for me. I feel honored and blessed to work with him. We started working almost 2 years ago and since then, not only have my numbers increased, but he helped me reach my dreams. I had been doing powerlifting for many years before Joey and tried almost everything, I also jumped from coach to coach. But when I started with Joey I immediately felt like I was in the right place and I haven’t looked back since and I can never imagine having another coach. First of all, he believes in you, and he pushes you when you need it. He can explain complex things in a way you understand and is always a message away. He is so passionate about you and your goals, and he’s always there for you. He makes champions.
Thanks to Joey I was able to finally go from a 472.5kg total to 554kg as a 63kg junior and get to the open level. And what I really like is that he got so big goals for me and is always honest. He also won’t overthink things or through in things just because, he really know what he’s doing and what is necessary to make progress.
These two years have been so meaningful and I know there is so much left that we can do together.
