Honestly at first I was iffy about working with someone I knew very few about, but I told myself “if he’s under Joey and has that many years of experience, then he should be good” and I have not regretted it at all. Even though he is on the other coast from me, the online coaching is far from difficult. Communication is very well with him and I believe that’s very important when looking for a coach. I did my first powerlifting meet a little over 3 months after hiring him, and it went so well with the calls he gave. Since then, I have put around 120+lbs on my total which personally, is insane for less than a year. The individuals under Team Joey Flexx branch out to him along with the other coaches and it makes for an amazing community of lifters. Mikey is a great coach & a very chill guy. He seriously focuses on his clients and as mentioned before, has been a decision with no regret.”
